The Online Coaching section features interactive tools that challenge the depressed person's thinking patterns and may help ease distorted thoughts. The Online Coaching tools use artwork, characters and metaphor to encourage new ways of thinking. We seek to use creativity to help individuals confront the challenges of living with depression.
The Library provides more than 20 text articles covering many aspects of dealing with depression and other life issues, including medications, psychotherapy, handling stress, managing anger, overcoming procrastination, exercise, support groups, meditation and yoga, coping with a bad day, and much more. Each article is easy to read and to the point. Most are beautifully illustrated.
You'll also find a quick depression self-test, which can help you determine if you are at risk of depression.
In addition, check out the Weekly Wake-up Call. Here you'll find ideas, tips and insights to help you cope with depression and give your mood a lift. We promise to keep it short and to the point.
